Today, Titanic is a classic film and McConaughey has probably regretted his decision at least several times. Gillian Anderson — who was eventually cast as paranormal Agent Scully — said that Pamela was supposed to play the part of the FBI investigator. “Pamela was somebody who was more familiar to them in terms of what was on TV at the time. They were looking for someone bustier, taller, and leggier than me. They couldn’t fathom how David and I could equal success.”
