Li Hongbo’s Paper Sculptures That Refuse to Stay Still
Li Hongbo’s sculptures borrow the familiar appearance of classical study models, then quietly overturn it. Built from glued layers of paper, their honeycomb-like structures can expand, curve and contract in ways a solid bust never could.
