Peeta’s Murals That Make Flat Walls Feel Three-Dimensional
A wall can look solid and impossible at the same time. In Peeta’s murals, ribbons, loops and geometric volumes appear to curl around real windows and float in front of façades. These ten projects turn everyday buildings into optical puzzles, inviting a second look at the space between paint and architecture.
Porrentruy: Architecture in Disguise

For the 2026 POPA Festival in Porrentruy, Peeta gives a pale façade an apparently impossible framework. Cream-colored loops twist between the real windows, while painted shadows suggest thick beams projecting into the street. The most convincing detail is the restraint: the mural stays close to the building’s own colors, making the imagined structure seem almost plausible.
