A World in an Oyster | Liang Fu

Inside a black-lipped pearl oyster, two tiny shrimps inhabit a space that looks almost architectural. Fu followed this pair for a year near Romblon Island in the Philippines, using a narrow macro probe to see through the shell’s opening without touching its occupants. The orange folds and clear bodies give an overlooked marine relationship an unexpectedly otherworldly scale.
